About The Walden House

The Walden House is a 1900 Victorian-style guest house with a tranquil and quiet atmosphere, situated against Cape Town’s most famous backdrop, Table Mountain. We are conveniently within close proximity to the central business district, Bo-Kaap, V&A Waterfront, Table Mountain, Cape Town’s finest beaches and many more amazing attractions.

Our rooms offer you a unique and private setting, custom designed to our style. There are seven elegant en-suite rooms that offer a relaxed atmosphere. Four of the rooms offer direct access to our beautiful gardens, where you can soak up some African rays. The Honeymoon Suite has a fireplace and large Victorian bathroom with a separate shower. It offers direct access to the balcony with the views of the Cape Town mountains.

The Walden House offers guests a splash pool, Wi-Fi internet access, and 24-hour security. Airport transfers, private tours, and laundry and dry cleaning services can be arranged on request. Secure parking is available on the premises.
