Set on the northern reaches of the 6,000-hectare Botlierskop Private Game Reserve, near the charming town of Friemersheim, the Village Lodge warmly welcomes families with children of all ages. The lodge is made up of beautifully restored 1800s houses, each thoughtfully furnished with elegant modern interiors. Every room features an en-suite bathroom, a comfortable lounge area, and a private outdoor patio, all surrounded by tranquil gardens.

Guests can enjoy daily game drives, relax at the lodge?s hot and cold outdoor pools, or allow little explorers to discover the indoor and outdoor play areas, as well as the Kids Club. The restaurant serves delicious meals throughout the day, while the on-site curio shop offers a selection of unique keepsakes. With a wide variety of activities designed especially for younger guests, the Village Lodge is the perfect family-friendly safari getaway.

Children of all ages are welcome. Kids aged 3 years and older may join scheduled game drives, while private drives or babysitting services can be arranged for younger children at an additional charge.

Botlierskop is easily accessible from Cape Town via a scenic 4-hour drive and is situated along the world-renowned Garden Route, just off the N2. The reserve lies in a malaria-free area and is only a 25-minute drive from George Airport. Mossel Bay, just 20 minutes away, is rich in history, with attractions such as the Dias Museum, the Old Post Tree, and more.
