Each Family Unit offers a queen-size bed and 1 single bed, and features an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower. Each room offers a bar fridge, microwave, tea/coffee facilities, and a small dining table/desk. Guests also have access to a patio.

Karoo Retreat Gastehuis offers self-catering and room-only accommodation and is located in central Oudtshoorn. The guest house offers a comfortable base from which to explore the town’s surrounding attractions and facilities.
Accommodation comprises Luxury Villas, Standard Double Rooms, Comfort Family Units, One-Bedroom Family Unit and a Two-Bedroom Family Apartment. Each option features a private bathroom and contains amenities such as air-conditioning, TV with selected DStv channels, small dining table/desk, tea- and coffee-making facilities, safety deposit boxes. The Self-Catering Villas, Standard Double Rooms, Comfort Family Units offer heat-and-eat appliances such as a microwave and a bar fridge. The Two Bedroom Family Unit can accommodate 4 adults or 3 adults and 1 child & features 2 separate bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.

There are quite a few restaurants, shops, and other businesses nearby in the town centre. One can visit the ostrich farms in the area, or guests can go explore the Cango Caves that are situated 28 km away.
Nearby activities include horse riding, bird watching, wine tasting, cycling, game drives, game viewing, guided walks, and mountain biking.
Oudtshoorn is the largest town in the Little Karoo, situated along the renowned Cape Route 62 in the Western Cape.
It boasts the largest ostrich population in the world, featured at a number of excellent ostrich show farms around the town. Other attractions include the Cango Caves and the Klein Karoo wine route.
